E-MAX Eikaiwa Gakuin, in Kobe, Japan, is seeking an experienced, full-time native English instructor to teach English conversation and grammar to students (all ages, from kids to adults) at our school in Kobe, Japan. We are a small, friendly, privately-owned ‘eikaiwa’.
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Will sponsor or renew work visa.
• Must be a native English speaker (from an English speaking country).
• Minimum 1 year teaching experience required.
• Begins February/March 2008.
Conditions:
1. Work hours: A total of 40 hours per week, including 25 teaching hours.
2. Schedule: 1 – 10pm Tuesday through Friday, and 10am – 7pm Saturday.
3. Teaching all ages - kids (from age 5) to adults.
4. Small classes – maximum 3 students per class.
5. Must have your own effective teaching methods and be able to plan your own lessons. English speaking ability alone is not enough. All of our lessons must be high-quality.
6. Salary: 250,000-260,000 yen per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
7. Experience, team player and pleasant personality are a must.
English majors and TEFL/TESOL certificate holders are welcomed.
E-MAX is a private English conversation school which is Eiken certified. We offer quality, interactive, fun lessons which are taught by caring, dedicated teachers. Our teachers are all professionals who possess TEFL/TESOL, 1st level Eiken, 900 TOEIC and have business experience.

Working Hours: 40 hours/25 teaching hrs: 1–10pm Tuesday through Friday, and 10am–7pm Saturday
