Recognized and successful private English Language School in Changchun, Jilin, China established in August, 2000, is hiring native-English speaking teachers to join our faculty. We have openings that begin June 1, 2008.
Bai Da Wei English School (English Education International, LLC) is well known throughout the city for providing excellent English instruction for children ages 4 to 18. These schools are directly owned and managed by English Education International, LCC and Changchun City Bai Da Wei Foreign Language Training Institute.

*during winter and summer public school holidays, teachers work up to 9 extra hours per week or four weeks in winter and four weeks in summer, to cover the schools very popular intensive English camps located at the schools.
Changchun is a great place to live and work. Because of the many universities and colleges located in the city, the atmosphere is very young and exciting. It is one of the greenest cities in China with countless parks to explore and enjoy. Numerous nightlife activities as well as quiet coffee shops and teahouses are throughout the city, something for everyone. Standard Chinese is spoken in Changchun therefore a great place to study. (Several teachers study at Northeast Normal University and Jilin University.)
The salary is 6000 to 8000 RMB per month depending on experience and which contract is signed. If school housing is used, salaries begin at 5000 to 7000 RMB per month. Cost of living is very reasonable in Changchun. One can live comfortably on less than 2500 RMB per month.
Teacher qualifications:
Native English speaker from UK, North America, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa
College graduate, no exceptions
Energetic team player with desire to teach children of all ages

The teacher is responsible for transportation to China after the work visa is secured. The school will provide the successful candidate all documents required to apply for the work visa and will reimburse the teacher for the cost of the visa upon arrival in Changchun. Our school has never been denied a work visa for candidates before coming to China. Please note that the bonus is given each year if the contract is renewed.
Working Hours: 5 day week with 2 consecutive days off
