Linguistics - Computer Mediated Communication

The links on this page dated 2001-03-01 are actually left over from the first version of the Linguistic Funland in 1994, and were converted to the new database here in 2001. Years ago, I had many more CMC-related links, but over the years, many of them have gone away. Computer-mediated communication has some very interesting issues academically for both Linguistics and Communications students, and I became fascinated by the the subtleties of communication online.

If you have done or read research in Computer mediated communication, and would like a link here, please feel free to submit the site using the "Submit a Site" link above, or let me know about it by using the "Contact" link at the top of the page.
