[Edit] [Delete] My book is now being made available FOR FREE at this web site. It is a 14 section expose on how language was invented. It introduces the teacher to how letters were seen as pictures and some of the ways that they were used. There are many unusual discoveries showing how specific words were invented. This book represents a major step forward. |

[Edit] [Delete] A personal homepage containing an ongoing experimental annotated translation of the Ming Chinese novel Ping Yao Zhuan and an area on TESOL experience since 1967, Chinese literature in translation and book review, etc. Links to Chinese language related sites, including my own Chinese Dictionary Message Board. Author is enthusiastic proponent of Wang Yunwu's 4 corner system (and slightly modified versions) for Chinese character lookup and one step lookup systems in general, fluent in Lin Yutang's "Instant Index" as well. Also support his simplified GR romanization although I use Hanyu Pinyin in the Ping Yao Zhuan for everybody's convenience. For the study of literature. the systems with tones spelled in are far superior to those using numbers or diacriticals, especially if simplified as is Lin's. |
