Hi, all. It's been almost three years (since March of 2001!)
since I updated SillySearch, so some of you may not even be
using it anymore. I'm really sorry to bother you if that's the
case. Please let me know if you no longer need to get the
bug fix and update announcements for the script!

If you are still using it, I've just released some bug
fixes. First, there was a bug where if someone typed in a word
that was on the "ignore" list, and chose a search for all
words, sometimes it would not find any results even if there
were results to be found. I also put in some code to strip out ".."
from the list of directories to try to keep people from
potentially backing up and searching where they shouldn't.

I added a feature to try to let the program search up to 3
levels deep of subdirectories. I'm not sure how this will
work on different systems: please let me know if you encounter
bugs with this.

I also made some cosmetic changes to the form and the results.
It's using Arial/Helvetica font which I think looks nicer,
but of course, you can change that if you wish. Smile

You can download the new version (v2.3) here:

http://tesol.net/scripts/SillySearch/

Please let me know if you have any problems or questions
about it!

Thanks!

Kristina
