Okay, there are a million web hosting places on the Internet that will host your website. Some of them are free, some cheap, and some more expensive, but all web hosting services have differences in features and service and support. Please consider very carefully what you want to do with your website. Free web hosting is nice, but you often cannot get any support or help. Paid web hosting sometimes gives you support, but may not have all the features you want.

These are a few places I've found that will host your website. I've listed them with the prices, and the features they support. I have tried Hypermart, ProHosting, and Netfirms of the free sites, and they seem to work all right EXCEPT that ProHosting and Netfirms may need some extra modifications for the scripts AND Hypermart is no longer free. If a script acts differently on those than it does on the demo version on my site, please let me know so I can check it out. They also have decent information available about how to set up CGI scripts on their servers, but you do need to look for it. Also, PLEASE remember that you get what you pay for. :-)

WestHost.com offers "VPS" (Virtual Private Servers) that are almost like having your own dedicated server. affiliate link (I get a commission if you sign up) or regular link (no commission for me!). I've had an account here for some time, and it is fabulous. It's not quite as good as having your own real dedicated server with root access, but you can easily make modifications to your Apache/web server config and install all sorts of custom stuff. *Extremely* flexible if you need that extra bit of access.
